We will always remember Grandad speaking Italian (well, trying to!) where he would always link the key phrases he knew with an elongated "eeeeeeaaaahhhhhhh".  The quizzical looks on the locals faces always made us laugh.  But Grandad always looked happy and everyone loved him for trying.  We especially remember a time in Porlezza where he ordered Ruby a pain au chocolat and she ended up with a hot chocolate drink!
